Scottish Touch assesses the 'Impact of COVID-19'

19 Jan 2021 @ 18:00 GMT

Scottish Touch recognises that the last nine months have not been easy for members. The COVID-19 pandemic uprooted society in March 2020 and we all had to adapt to the new normal while we navigated the first lockdown and following restrictions.

We’d like to thank everyone who completed the Impact of COVID-19 survey in November.  Scottish Touch took the opportunity to use the responses of members to compile our NGB response for the the Scottish Parliament Health and Sport Committee: Impact of COVID-19 Inquiry.

Our response to the committee's inquiry focussed on aspects such as national events, performance touch, partnerships and the impact the pandemic has had on members, clubs, league organisers and regional associations.

Whilst the next few months are still uncertain, we hope that we can use this review to support our members as we return to touch, hopefully in the not too distant future.
