Galaxy win the first event in the Scottish Touch Series

Galaxy pulled back a 2 score deficit to beat Six Pack in the Cup Final at the Scottish Touch Series in Edinburgh. The final ended in an exciting drop off, with Galaxy getting the winning score whilst the teams were down to 4 players each.

Buffalos, reaching their first 3rd/4th Playoff, were edged by Sparks winning 5-4 in another drop off finale.

Rounding out the top half of the draw, Meerkats defeated BlueJays 6-5 in the Shield Final, with Glasgow Lions defeating Guerillas to finish 7th on the day [4-2].

The host club, Six Pack, finished the day in two finals, with their second team beating Stirling Storm in a evenly contested Plate final. Emulating the Cup Final which was taking place on the next pitch, the match went down to a drop off - with Six Pack getting the all important score to win 5-4.

Many thanks to the Referees for their efforts on the day, and special mention to Referee of the Tournament, Riet Garsed - fresh back from her referring duties at the World Masters in New Zealand.

Congratulations also to Rob Wilson [Stirling Storm] and Hannah Chrisp [Galaxy] who were Most Valued Players on the day.
