After a number of strong performances over the past four years, the Scotland Mixed Open squad have had their efforts recognised by their rise up the rankings. 

We caught up with Robbie McKenzie, Mixed Open Head Coach, to get his reaction to the news:

"I'd like to congratulate everyone who has been part of an amazing journey with this Mixed Open squad, on this fantastic achievement.  To be ranked #3 in the world is something to be truly proud of.  The investment physically, mentally and financially has created a bond within our squads that I have never seen matched.  Our togetherness is our biggest asset.  NZ Touch Blacks.... watch your backs, we're coming for you."
