David Matthew, Scottish Touch President, summs up the event below:

"I was delighted to see 100+ Touchies, who braved the elements on Saturday night for STA's inaugural Awards Night, enjoying a riotous evening of socialising, good food, entertainment and the ceilidh. Our thanks go to Peter and Richard who masterminded the event from start to finish and their team of volunteers who ensured everyone had a really great time.

Congratulations to the recipients of the Awards for 2014 for Coach, Player, Referee and Volunteeer of the Year as voted for by STA members.
My thanks to Kate Short who heled to organised the Raffle and donated prizes. Also thanks to Westwoods Health Club, voted Scottish Premium Health Club of the Year 2014 who donated the True or False Game's Star Prize of 3 months membership. James Matthew, their General Manager, tells me that all STA members are entitled to their Corporate Rates and if you join in January you get 3 months free - ideal for those heading of Coffs Harbour or preparing for next season's games!

I am looking forward to a successful 2015 both on and off the pitch"
