Scotland Puts on a Fine Show - Scrum magazine article by Scott Hastings

A World Cup was held in Scotland during the Summer - The Touch World Cup - and as a man heavily involved in it Scott Hastings is the perfect man to give us a rundown of the event.

As one of the Event Directors of the Touch Wolrd Cup it was a priviledge to be involved in such an exciting and positive event. For those who have never heard of Touch, the sport is governed by FIT, the Federation of International Touch and the event held at Peffermill in Edinburgh, in the third week of June, was the seventh Touch World Cup to be played. Already claims are being made that this was the best ever held to date and quite rightly so. 85 teams from 26 countries from throughout the world played in over 200 games in five days of competition across seven playing divisions!
