Phase 3 (1) guidance - STA statement - 10 July 2020

Scottish Touch issued enhanced guidance on 19 July, please refer to the statement for up to date information.

Following the First Minister's announcement on 9th July, there are opportunities to advance our return to play approach.

From 10th July, the training group size can increase to a maximum of 15 people from a maximum of 5 households. A ball can be used but physical distancing must be maintained at all times. There can be no games of touch and no physical contact. As far as possible, training 'bubbles' should be maintained.

The situation for players aged 17 and under is set to change from 13th July. The Board and Regions are working together to assess what controls will need to be in place to align with the Phase 3 guidance. It is likely any changes for 17 year olds and younger will not be introduced before 18th July.

When we have more information on the return to play for adults and youth, we will share these with you.

Please remember that all individuals and training groups must comply with Scottish Government guidance when training.

Stay safe.
